Get to know Ariadna Rodríguez, Health & Safety Coordinator for Spain and Portugal

Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace is an important part of our operations. Ariadna Rodríguez, Health & Safety Coordinator for Spain and Portugal, plays a key role in this effort by helping to foster a culture where every employee can do their best work.

A Foundation in Prevention
Ariadna’s interest in occupational health and safety is grounded in both her education and her professional background. With a degree in Labor Relations and a master’s in Occupational Risk Prevention, she is certified to work as a Senior Technician in her field. Over the years, Ariadna has worked across various industries, developing and implementing strategies to improve well-being and create safer, more efficient work environments. “I’ve always been driven to create workplaces where people feel protected and empowered,” she shares.

Making an Impact at AUTO1 Group
Since joining AUTO1 Group last year, Ariadna has become an integral part of the team. Her main focus is to help ensure that employees across Spain and Portugal work in environments where safety is considered in daily routines. “My role is to identify, evaluate, and propose measures to minimize risks in the workplace,” she explains. “This not only protects our people, but also supports a positive safety culture and helps with operational efficiency.”

One of her first major projects was leading the creation of the company’s own Occupational Health and Safety Service — an internal corporate unit that directly assumes responsibility for planning, managing, and coordinating the company’s occupational risk prevention activities. This service ensures strict compliance with relevant legislation and advocates embedding safety across all business functions. “Designing this service from scratch was a big responsibility, but also a valuable experience. I know the positive impact it will have on the company and everyone in it.”

Ariadna quickly found her place at AUTO1 Group, thanks to the team’s supportive and collaborative environment. “As soon as I joined AUTO1 Group, I immediately felt at home. Working together, I’m confident we’ll achieve great things,” she says. For Ariadna, clear communication and teamwork are essential to making safety part of everyday life. Her motivation comes from seeing the real impact of her work. “I’m passionate about prevention and always looking for ways to improve. Knowing that my work makes a tangible contribution to the well-being of everyone here is what motivates me every day.”

Ariadna’s goals are both practical and forward-looking. In the short term, she is focused on consolidating the new Occupational Health and Safety Service and ensuring it becomes part of daily operations. Long term, she hopes this service will become a strong foundation for continuous improvement at AUTO1 Group.
