Bringing the Electric Vehicle Trends to life was a true team effort, requiring the expertise and dedication of colleagues across multiple departments. The process started with initial brainstorming sessions, where teams from Business Analytics, CRM, Communications, and Design came together to define the objectives. “Our mission in Analytics is to turn complex data into actionable intelligence that drives real business outcomes,” explains Agathe Chomel De Jarnieu, Director of Analytics Europe. “This year, we set out not just to report on trends, but to anticipate the needs of our partners and the market.”
Once the goals were set, the Business Analytics team dove into millions of transactions from across Europe, identifying patterns in EV sales, brand performance, and cross-border flows. Meanwhile, the CRM team designed and executed a comprehensive survey, reaching out to thousands of partner dealers to capture their perspectives on EV adoption, consumer preferences, and market barriers. “At AUTO1.com, we believe that putting our users at the center of everything we do is key to our success. That’s why we regularly conduct both qualitative and quantitative surveys to better understand our customers’ needs and shape our offering accordingly,” says Karen Bohne, Head of B2B Marketing.
To ensure the findings were accessible and actionable, the team introduced innovative approaches to data visualization and survey design. “By piloting advanced visualization tools and pioneering new survey techniques, we’ve made our insights more accessible and impactful than ever before,” Agathe adds. These allowed teams to easily explore the data and benchmark their own performance.
The Communications team then assembled the insights into a clear, compelling narrative. “From Data Analysts to CRM specialists and Graphic Designers, it’s a collective effort that delivers actionable findings to our partners, journalists, and the industry at large,” shares Natalie Al-Hammouri, Team Lead PR & Communications.
