As our Director Sales & Remarketing you take over full responsibility of one of the largest automotive BtoB sales teams in Europe. In this role you will directly work with and report to our VP France.
 

What you can expect

  • Develop a multi-year strategic and operational plan covering all dimensions of the business unit: strategic positioning, sales and marketing plan, partnership roadmap, process and system implementation plan, operational standards, recruitment, onboarding and development plan
  • Execute quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily strategies / initiatives to hit development, sales and profitability targets
  • Create and guarantee execution of operational standards to maximize B2B partner  acquisition and engagement, sales effectiveness and a great customer experience
  • Use reports and dashboards to make actionable business recommendations and to guarantee alignment with overall business plan
  • Source, recruit, hire and onboard top talents as well as lead, develop and motivate high-performing teams
  • Set clear team targets and individual goals, hold teams accountable by driving performance management
  • Co-operate with other departments within the Group like e.g. Operations, Logistics, HR and Finance teams to guarantee both a smooth and efficient operation, as well as reliable forecasting, budgeting and reporting
  • Identify and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders ranging from OEMs, dealerships, automotive industry experts and other service providers, to develop an effective and far-reaching network to further accelerate growth
  • Liaise with industry press and external partners to grow our B2B brand AUTO1.com and foster marketing-driven sales
  • Challenge traditional ways of working in order to find out the best solution by balancing input and output

 

What you have covered

  • 5+ years of experience in a management or business development role at a leading e-commerce company, ideally having had P&L and/or performance responsibility
  •  3+ years of (sales) people management experience in fast-growing environment
  • A strong track record in scaling and structuring full scope sales businesses
  • Experience engaging at all levels with external partners and B2B customers
  • Proven track record of outperformance at the individual and team level, while being comfortable with change, hungry to learn and resourceful
  • Natural commercial mindset with exceptional great communication, emotional intelligence, and strong sales skills
  • Strategic thinker, effective at using data, logic and instincts to identify problems and execute solutions at scale
  • Business fluent in French and English (both written and verbal)
  • A university degree with a focus in Business, Consulting or Finance from a leading university
