Business Development Manager - Strategic B2B/Italy

Auto1 is seeking a talented, innovative young professional to join our growing and successful B2B team. The main focus of this exciting role is the opportunity of co-leading and executing the development of the B2B (Remarketing) business unit across Italy. We expect you to source, structure, negotiate, execute, and implement strategic deals in support of a business thesis/strategy. The position will report to the Head of Remarketing and will work closely with the company management team, including the group’s Remarketing Director (based in Berlin), who is responsible for the Group-wide B2B business activities. What will you do:

  • Source, structure, negotiate, execute, and implement strategic deals in support of a business thesis/strategy
  • Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • In direct cooperation with our management team you´ll get deep insights into how to plan, optimize and implement processes and learn how to scale a business
  • Coordinate closely with Auto1’s operations teams to define priorities, build relationships and execute deals
  • Develop deep relationships with key partners that fit into our go-to-market master plan
  • Understand business model implications and communicate in a financially grounded way
  • Optimize and automate existing process flows in the current system as well as create incentive and performance analytics to increase employee efficiency

What you should bring:

  • First experiences in business development and/or consulting
  • Record of creating and executing on partnerships and negotiating deals
  • Resourcefulness and passion for our mission, strong use of insights and data-driven decision making
  • An extremely proactive, self-starter mentality with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying partner needs
