Our Finance Operations department consists of the following teams: Accounting, Group Reporting & Controlling, Group Accounting & Consolidation, Cash Management & Reconciliation and Business Intelligence Finance.

As Team Lead Group Reporting & Controlling you will lead a team of six professionals that manages the consolidated financial reporting and controlling for the entire AUTO1 Group. This role acts as a bridge between FP&A and management, ensuring financial data is accurate, compliant and timely.

Your new Role

Leading and developing the reporting & controlling team to achieve high performance and engagement.
Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group, typically in accordance with IFRS or German GAAP (HGB)
Calculation of group-wide provisions and IFRS specific adjustments
Manage projects with Business Intelligence Finance to supervise incoming/outgoing financial data quality and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in reporting and controlling activities
Act as a key point of contact for senior management, business units, and external auditors regarding group reporting and controlling matters
Have full overview and responsibility for the accuracy of group Profit & Loss statements by segment, ensuring data integrity and reliability & review and validate accounting entries to maintain high standards of data quality and compliance with group policies
Prepare and present relevant financial information to management

Your Skills

University degree in business, economics, finance, or a comparable field.
At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in Finance, Controlling, Reporting or Audit as well as a deep knowledge of IFRS & Accounting
You are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets & SQL
Strong analytical thinking, data preparation and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Experienced in team leading
